Part Time Position: Retail Staff Member

Founded in 1984 and located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Castle Remedies is a well-established Homeopathic Pharmacy/Health Store. We have a part-time opening for a highly motivated individual with retail experience, computer literacy, background in an alternative health care environment or a strong desire to learn about homeopathy, herbs and nutritional supplements.

The position entails: checking in orders, stocking shelves, helping maintain the homeopathic pharmacy, serving our clientele, answering phones, running cash registers, setting up displays, opening and closing shop, filing and computer data entry. In addition, a sense of humor, flexibility, tolerance and compassion are all must have qualities for this position.

Because we are looking to hire a new employee who meets all of our criteria, we will only be responding to some applications. Please note that this is not a summer or temporary job position. Due to the intensive nature of training a new employee, we hope to hire an applicant who expects to be able to work with us for at least one year or more. Thank you for your interest.

-Mondays 10am – 6pm

-Tuesdays 9am - 1pm

-Wednesdays 12pm – 6pm

-Thursdays 12pm – 6pm

-Saturdays 11am – 4pm

Denotes a closing shift. The store closes at 6:00pm on weekdays and 4:00pm on Saturdays. Most of the time, we are out the door within a few minutes of closing up shop, but occasionally you may need to stay up to 15 minutes after.Breaks: Employees working a 4 hour shift are entitled to a 30 minute paid break; 6 hour shifts are entitled to a 45 minute paid break; and 8 hour shifts are entitled to a 60 minute paid break.Benefits:

We take the health and safety of our employees and clients seriously. Castle Remedies is currently closed to foot traffic and is taking orders over the phone for shipping and contact-less curbside pick up. We have been "closed" to the public since March 2020.
