Kelly IT has an opening for a Remote Contract Product Designer to work with my client in CA. Duration: 6+ months, temp to hireRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the conceptualization, definition and end-to-design for our app, and drive consistency through creation and evolution of the experience across multiple platforms.
  • Work closely with the Design Manager, Research, Product Manager and Engineering partners to iterate quickly on feedback
  • Develop user-centered design solutions based on research, member insights, and industry best-practices.
  • Create design specs, documentation and presentations to clearly communicate design intent, process and solutions
SKILLS REQUIRED
  • 10-12 years' experience working in product design / UX roles
  • BS or MFA, or 4-year equivalent degree in a relevant field
  • Strong design point of view, craft and aesthetics across all common platforms (android, iOS & responsive web)
  • Track record of delivering end-to-end solutions from initial concepts to measurable outcomes
  • Ability to leverage user research, past data, and user needs to inform design strategy and solution
  • Ability to navigate and manage senior leadership, representing design perspective and advocating for user needs in the context of business and technology drivers
  • Strong expertise in common design tools (i.e Figma, Sketch, Abstract, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, etc)
NICE-TO-HAVE:
  • Experience working on personal finance, data visualization, and / or e-commerce
  • Experience working on consumer engagement, growth, and / or social experiences
  • Experience leading or working with Design Systems
  • Experience working in an agile environment using tools such as Jira and Confluence
