Title: Technical ArchitectEstimated Assignment End Date: 09/27/2022Number of Openings: 1Location: Rosemead, CA 91770 (Remote Start)Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pmEducation: Master's DegreeDay to Day Responsibilities/Workload:•Provides technical leadership and coordination of Analysis, Design and Build activities and technical deliverables•Prepares Conceptual architecture (AVD) to Solution Architecture (SAD)•Collaborate with Solution Architect and Enterprise Architect to ensure technical solution's alignment with Target Architecture, standards, and guiding principles•Accountable for quality of all project technical deliverables•SDLC technical deliverables identification, creation, review, and content tailoring: Solution Requirement Document (SRD), Solution Architecture Document (SAD), Technical Document Specification (TDS), Functional Document Specification (FDS) and Environment Design Specification (EDS), IT Compliance Impact Assessment, Cyber Security Data Criticality, Cyber Security Risk Checklist, User Security Matrix, Systems Requirement specification w/Solution Design Engineer, Solution Implementation Estimate•Provides SDLC technical deliverables planning and pattern selection:o SDLC types (waterfall, agile)o Project releases and iterations•Provides internal project reviews (project personnel only)•Supports Project Manager and assists in identification/consolidation of post-implementation lessons learned•Provides technical reviews (project personnel + external SMEs)•Manages compliance with architectural standards by presenting project to Solution Design Council (SDC) and responding to the Findings•Engages with various stakeholders in IT to achieve technical objectives (Ex: Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Analytic team, Information, etc.)•Identify, mitigate, and convey technical problems and risks of the project throughout the SDLC lifecycle•Assess change requests to identify impact to project requirements and scope•Prepares and presents trade-off analysisRequired Skills/Attributes:•Possess technical expertise and experience working in complex IT landscape•Functional knowledge in Transmission & Distribution•Good understanding of system requirement articulation best practices•Experience in architecture and design modeling using Archimate or UML•Experience in documenting solution architectures and design•Experience in architecting scalable and high-performance solutions•Experience in Agile methodology and DevOps tool set•Experience in SaaS and Cloud technologies•Good understanding of all the tiers of an n-tier architecture•Ability to work independently•Strong team player•Excellent communication skills•Understanding of project methodology, technical deliverable artifacts, and system integration•Strong knowledge of testing methodology•Well versed with System Engineering practicesDesired Skills/Attributes:•Minimum 10 years of IT technical experience•Minimum 5 years of IT Architecture experience including designing, integrating, and managing complex information•Preferred Minimum 1 years of DevOps experienceAdditional Information Related to COVID-19: The successful candidates are expected to:o Complete a COVID-19 questionnaire upon requesto Have access to a stable home internet with recommended speeds of 50 Mbps or highero Pick up telework equipment at local facilityo May work on a rotational schedule between home and at their designated work locationo Attend training remotely and may be asked to attend training in person at their designated work location, if neededo In the event that it is determined that candidates can return to work locations full time, candidates must be prepared to work at their designated work location
