Responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating complex computer programs. Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, prepares flowcharting, performs coding, and tests/debugs programs. Will work on a wide variety of application areas which can include data collection and equipment control, statistical process control and aggregating data from various sources and performing logic based on interviews with business stakeholders as examples. May function as a project or team leader.
Knowledge/Experience:- 4+ years of experience developing in Python and/or Perl
- Working knowledge of Java and Spring framework is a plus
- Experienced with SQL and back end RDBMS
- Proficient working knowledge of SDLC methodology, source control, and unit testing approaches
- Strong testing, debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of Git or other source code tools
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
