Kelly Technology has an opening for a Data Analyst to work with our client in Pleasanton, CADuration: 5+ monthsSUMMARY We are looking to add a Senior Analyst on a contractual basis who will lead digital transformation of our team into a high-performing, insights-driven organization. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Analytics in the interim and VP, Marketing and working in conjunction with the Digital Delivery team, the Senior Analyst will establish and lead a new analytics practice to measure channel performance, provide insights and opportunities for further enhancement, enable our transition to a culture of data-driven decision making, and optimize our data infrastructure. You'll have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with digital, finance, analytics and data engineering to build dashboards, reports that help marketers understand and influence our growth, create KPIs that measure and monitor our progress against business-critical goals, and perform ad hoc analysis diving into the impact of individual campaigns, investments, and initiatives. This role functions at both a strategic and tactical level; you will be working to bring our capabilities to the next level, not only supporting the team, but also leading the charge to advance our data platforms into new, more advanced capabilities.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the business unit and analytics teams to strategize, develop, and deploy meaningful enablement metrics using Tableau and in-house analytical tools
  • Create dashboards that focus on maximizing the message and minimizing the noise to effectively communicate data trends with stakeholders
  • Bring an analytical approach and advanced skills with Tableau and other BI tools.
  • As a lead analyst, you will consult with stakeholders to gather key metrics and other business/operational requirements, work productively and effectively with data owners and stewards towards ensuring optimum data sources, build and implement high-value enterprise data visualizations, present to leadership, track utilization and adoption and continually look for improvement opportunities. (Digital and Marketing teams will be primary partners)
  • Create marketing automation code and scheduled tasks/ jobs in Snowflake with the ability to script/ join multiple data sources together graduating from manual Excel file list creations to reusuable scripts & Snowflake tasks
  • Guide/ mentor marketing analysts with Snowflake/ SQL & Tableau coding expertise; data liaison with the Enterprise Data Team for Marketing
  • Perform detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples) Design and create data visualizations (reports and dashboards) as required to support user stories, including UI visualization aspects Excellent Business Communication skills.
Qualifications:
  • 6-8years minimum as an analyst working in the industry; Marketing data experience a plus
  • Tableau Dashboard Wizard: proven experience in Dashboard Design and Build using Tableau
  • A detail oriented, logical thinker with understanding of various databases and skills to connect them
  • Snowflake and SQL scripting guru a MUST
  • Experience working with a data warehouse and/or analytics team
  • Strong ability to extract information with the ability to create clear requirements, specifications, and documentation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Computer Science and/or Math degree preferred
  • Must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact and work and communicate with staff at all levels, including C-level
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Having Sales and Marketing analytics experience is desirable.
  • Ability/skill/experience to use Tableau to extract data from different data sources (Salesforce databases, Snowflake, SQL databases etc.)
  • Ability to query Snowflake data warehouse using Snowflake IDE's such as DBeaver or the web based Snow SQL editor
  • Ability to query MS SQL Server relational database using SQL client software application, such as Microsoft Server SQL Management Studio
  • Proficient in SQL Server and Snowflake query creation and execution in production and development environments
  • Tableau visualization skills is mandatory; ability to ramp up reports in Tableau using Snowflake/ SQL data using Tableau creator license
  • Completed Tableau, SQL Server and Snowflake trainings on LinkedIn or external preferred
