Job DescriptionSenior Software Dev/Ops System Reliability EngineerHawthorne, CASuccessful candidate will ensure Uptime for Cloud and Bare Metal Linux Environments. Develop RESTful API Interfaces Endpoints. Develop tools for data processing and distributed computing. Support Microservices Frameworks with RabbitMQ and Protocol Buffers (ProtoBufs). May support multiple programs/products simultaneously. Works as part of an integrated product team under the direction of the Software ManagerRequired Skills:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience (MS Preferred)
  • Previous experience with software coding and algorithm development using C or Python programming language
  • Expertise in CentOS/RHEL, Debian/Ubuntu Administration & Deployment
  • Experience with Ansible for virtual cloud configuration management
  • Experience with git, gitflow version control system
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies
  • Experienced in writing software design documentation
  • Must have strong programming language Python or C
  • Must have in depth knowledge of Linux OS (CentOS/RHEL, Debian/Ubuntu)
  • Distributed Computing, RabbitMQ, Celery, BORG, Hadoop, SQL
  • Masters Degree in Computer Science
