- Creates, standardizes, and secures cloud accounts for use by the various project teams.
- Provides root operational support for cloud infrastructure (AWS, Oracle, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) serving as an escalation point and subject matter expert.
- Provides strong customer service acumen.
- Monitors, diagnoses, and resolves complex problems and performs analysis in relation to cloud operations in the cloud environment.
- Performs high-level incident response and assures services resolution for cloud accounts and supporting tools.
- Performs root cause analysis, diagnostics, and monitoring on various production systems.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements and works with team members to implement efficiencies.
- Effectively creates and maintains relevant documentation and user guides.
- Secures Cloud applications and data against theft, loss, or other disasters.
- Participates in disaster recovery planning, including assisting with fault tolerance and disaster recovery plans.
- Effectively works with end users, vendors, and IT departments to implement solutions to production, Pre-production, test, and development environment problems quickly.
- Interacts with external technology vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
- Applies scripting methodologies to automate IT administrative related tasks.
- 5 or more years of experience working with infrastructures and 3 or more years of experience with commercial cloud service providers.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- Security+ Certification
- Command line expertise with strong Linux and Windows experience
- High level understanding of security and compliance configurations for sensitive data (eg. FedRAMP, DoD Impact Levels, HIPAA, PHI, etc.)
- Bash shell, PowerShell, and/or Python scripting experience
- Practitioner level cloud certification such as: AWS-CCP (AWS) and MTA (MS Azure) and/or Professional Cloud Architect preferred.
- Certifications in one or more CSP such as AWS, Azure, OCI P
- Basic understanding of working with Server Level Applications
- Basic understanding of WAN and LAN buildouts
- Basic understanding of Windows Operating systems
- Basic understanding of back-end website solutions
- Experience in working with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Accounts/Subscriptions
- Experience with SSL Certificate procurement and delivery
- Experience with Domain Registration and management
- Experience supporting Government Contracts.
- Experience supporting technology in the Federal space.
- Experience in supporting customers in a ITSM ticket-based and email environment (ServiceNow)
- Ability to translate complex technologies into simple to understand concepts.
- Assist in the identification, definition and implementation of process improvement.
- Brings a high sense of urgency for all tasks.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities and able to provide timely responses.
