RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has an opportunity with a local Charlotte, NC client who is looking for a NextGen Software Engineer to join their team for a direct hire position (compensation includes base, bonus, and benefits). This is an exciting position that involves supporting our client's NextGen initiatives working with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, JavaScript, microservices, API as a Product, and Azure.Key Tasks: Working together in small, focused Agile teams with other experienced engineers to perform full life cycle application development Building open communication with your Product Owner, Quality Test Automation Engineers, fellow Software Engineers, and Development DBA to understand and transform business requirements into business-savvy features Solving problems, debugging, and optimizing code to ensure optimum performance and security Determining optimal solutions for architecture, efficiency, maintainability, and scalability Collaborating with Senior Engineers and Technical leads in the design, review, and implementation of new solutions Teaming up with QA to review, approve and design against test cases- ensuring our demanding customers' expectations are fulfilled Create code solutions that follow architecture's prescribed standards and industry best practices Conduct code reviews and sharing of feedback in coordination with Senior EngineersREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related with 5+ years of .NET software development experience building web-based applications OR a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related and 2+ years of .NET software development experience Tech stack: .NET Core 3.1+, .NET Framework, C#, JavaScript, microservices, API as a product, DDD, Cloud (Azure preferred) and SQL. Hands-on experience following Agile software development processes (Scrum/Kanban) Handling code via source control systems (such as Git) in continuous integration environments Exercising sound coding practices, such as unit testing, object-oriented programming, and patterns Using Advanced SQL including stored procedures, indexes, triggers, and functions Strong delivery record experienced in an Agile way or working. Excellent time management skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability to cultivate and maintain supportive relationships within the team Keen analytical skills and proven problem-solving ability Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize work others will follow Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
