Principal DevOps Engineer

We just started working with a company in the FinTech space that build an application for automated investment strategies and transactions through AI/ML. Their founding team is made up of Data Scientists from Google, Facebook and LinkedIN. As they continue to grow they are looking for a Sr. Level DevOps Engineer who can help scale their infrastructure and create automation, elasticity and reliability for the infrastructure. #LI-IR1 Some of the Engineers on the team have been doing some of this work but they are at the point in their companies growth where Infra/DevOps is now a full time job and they are looking for someone to offer some guidance. This would be an entirely greenfield project and ideally someone who has been the first DevOps hire previously in their career. Required Skills & Experience

• Experience building high scale production AWS infrastructures
• Production Kubernetes implementation, management and automation
• Infrastructure as Code (i.e. Terraform)
• Familiar with automating CI/CD pipelines (we use Spinnaker)

• Previous start up experience
• Strong monitoring experience (Prometheus or ELK)
• Computer Science Degree
• Previous experience in Software Engineering

• 30% Software Engineering/Tools Development
