Trainer- Developer Productivity

This person will: Someone who can understand our technical environment so they can instruct developers how to put together the environment they are working in here. i.e. How they start, submit changes, monitor, etc. Understand how the VMs work, how to set up environments. Help make things more self guided, if needed or eventually when we are back in the office could be some more hands-on / in-person trainings conducted. Build out a whole boot camp program. What we have now is very high level, only about 1.5 hours. We need something more comprehensive, that prepares someone to hit the ground running more quickly. Make developers more self sufficient to work more on their own. Build/ pipeline issues, for example they don’t know how to debug themselves, build a process that allows them to debug without needing as much help from the rest of the team or leadership. This person will provide hands-on coaching that we don’t have today.Any developer hired on here working on our products, anyone touching code / doing development work will go thru this training. Someone (any developer we hire) may be great at writing code but they have to learn how to do things here at Nutanix. This will help enable these engineers to do their work. Help our developers understand how the build works underneath or the tools that we push code to, when they try to submit a piece of code. Be able to follow where the build is. Problems this person will help solve:How do they use Java, C & Python in our build environment?When there is a failure, where could it be coming from? How do I teach people to use it to a degree to where they can help themselves? Each pipeline has it’s own tooling here and we need to get our developers proficient.
