- Supervise the activities of all System Engineering disciplines.
- Obtain and provide technical direction for projects and planning purposes.
- Document system operations and recovery procedures.
- Respond to, resolve, and follow-up on escalated issues.
- Manage and apply necessary system security access.
- Analyze performance indicators to ensure that systems are operating efficiently.
- Make changes to system software and hardware so that performance meets company objectives.
- Work closely with various IT and business teams to plan and execute the IT Disaster Recovery plan as needed
- Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fulfill administrative and technical reporting and documentation requirements.
- Superior analytical, evaluation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology or related discipline required.
- 15+ years of experience designing, implementing and supporting systems in a production environment.
- 5+ years leading technical teams to accomplish business goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud technologies including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and associated products.
- Extensive experience with Active Directory and Group Policy design.
- Extensive knowledge of VMware vSphere or other virtualization technologies
- Extensive knowledge of Unix and Linux systems.
- Extensive knowledge of LAN/WAN Networking.
- Extensive knowledge of SAN/VTL/Tape storage technologies.
- Extensive Experience with DNS, DHCP.
- Experience with VPN, Anti-Virus, and Disaster Recovery & Business Resumption programs.
- Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
- Microsoft and VMware Certifications are helpful.
- ITIL Foundations Certification is desirable.
