JOB TITLE: Cart Puller

JOB SUMMARY:

Cart Puller is responsible for keeping the machines from running out of materials by ensuring that they take carts with material to the appropriate cup machines. Cart Puller is responsible for keeping the drop zone area clean, and will remove empty/rejected carts and transport the carts back to drop zone for pick up. Cart Pullers also conduct cart counts, cycle counts and inventory counts on production floor and machines. Cart Pullers supply silicone, and mineral oil to the machines and other supplies needed on a daily basis.

JOB TITLE: Lid Line Packer

JOB SUMMARY: The Lid Line Packer has three main functions; quality control, HACCP, and packing lids into boxes for shipment. Lid line packers will pack plastic lids into sleeves into cardboard boxes per production schedule and specification sheet. Packers will perform quality inspections for defects as well as inspect lid fit according to quality check sheet. Packers will maintain housekeeping and keep area organized and ready for incoming shift. Lid line packer may also perform Utility Packer responsibilities/duties such as stocking packing lanes with correctly labeled boxes and plastic sleeves. Packer will assist Lid Line Operators with “changeover” processes which consist of retrieving and relabeling upcoming changeover boxes, cleaning lid lanes of excess debris, clean the back end of the extruder area and the outer areas of the trim press, coordinate the delivery of supplies such as plastic boxes for packing purposes to the packing area. In addition, complete other work as assigned by supervisor.

JOB TITLE: Utility Packer

JOB SUMMARY:

The Utility Packer (UP) is responsible for assisting cup packers by ensuring all proper labels and boxes are readily available for each print. The UP is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of the entire work area throughout the shift and assisting other employees as necessary. The UP will properly maintain written reports and label, stamp, and assemble boxes as needed. The UP will communicate with cup packers of upcoming print changes and any deviations in a timely manner The UP is responsible for checking all labels, boxes, and spec sheet for accuracy. The UP is also responsible for relieving all cup packers of their scheduled breaks and lunches. Additionally, UP must ensure all cup packers are using the proper labels and boxes at shift change. The UP is also responsible for repacking damaged cases and returning all unused boxes to the warehouse.

JOB TITLE: Packaging Operator

JOB SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of the Packaging Technician is to maintain the auto-bagger equipment, case sealers, case erector, packing stands, cups & lids case date code. Duties will include the following: change out films on the auto-bagger equipment and change out tape in case sealers. Change out broken parts on auto baggers and case sealers. Repair push carts if necessary. Troubleshoot & maintain case date code & change ink cartridge as needed. Assist in auto baggers, case sealer & case erector rebuilds. Maintain and promote cleanliness and organization in work area. Packaging Technician will also complete paperwork and logs, create notifications, receive pass down & perform pass down with oncoming or outgoing shifts

Shift start: 4:00PM or 12:00AM
Shift length: 8 - 12 hours
Typically 6 days a week.
