Chocolate Machine Operator

FULL-TIME

$24.36/hr

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr (Introductory); $19.75/hr (Seniority Rate – after 1040/hrs); $24.36/hr (after 2080 hours)

Setting up, maintaining, and operating machinery that includes the safe and efficient operation of a variety of tasks in the manufacturing of chocolate products. Employees will be required to operate equipment and machinery according to manufacturing instructions, while ensuring the production of quality goods. Employees must adhere to safety and environmental objectives and targets while performing work functions.

The process of making chocolate can be hot, noisy, and dusty. You will regularly lift up to 50 pounds, work on your feet for long periods of time, climb stairs, and bend/stoop/reach often over and under all equipment on a concrete floor for long periods of time. Employees are required to wear uniforms, hair nets, earplugs, safety glasses, safety shoes and adhere to GMP guidelines.

Shift length: 8 hours
Monday - Friday, some Saturday
