Self Storage Facility Assistant Manager

Jack Rabbit Storage is looking for full-time Assistant Store Managers. We are seeking confident, mature, self-assured individuals to assist with managing the day to day operation of our self-storage facilities. Must be able to work well alone or in a team environment. Interact with customers helping them assess their storage needs, execute rental agreements, answer inquiries and resolve issues. If you enjoy being active and interacting with people, this position is for you. You will spend your workday split between inside office tasks and outdoor property tasks. You will work at multiple locations - reliable transportation is required.

Primary Responsibilities include:

-Assist customers through showing available units, merchandise sales and truck rental.

-Follow up on reservations and inquiries.

-Prepare vacant units for rent.

-Answer customer inquiries via phone, in person and internet.

-Process daily payments and complete daily bank deposit.

-Contact delinquent customers for payment.

-General office neatness & light cleaning.

-Property upkeep & cleanliness, both inside and outside

Requirements:

-Customer service experience in retail or office environment.

-Ability to work independently when required and as part of management team.

-Excellent administrative skills including proficient PC skills and minimum 25WPM typing speed.

-Cash handling experience to include balancing drawer, closing out at end of shift and locating and correcting payment discrepancies.

-Able to quickly learn and navigate specialized software.

-Minimum High School Diploma

-Able to stand, walk or sit for a combined eight hours daily.

Hours: FULL TIME 36-40 hours per week. Schedule can include a mix of day or evening hours. MUST be able to work weekends when needed.
