Software QA Engineer III

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software QA Engineer III in Milpitas, CA. Summary:Our Client's Content Solutions group is responsible for their consumer digital media and storage solutions, including the award-winning My Cloud devices. Their Milpitas, California-based team is developing the application software that drives these solutions, enabling users to see and share their photos, videos, music, and documents anywhere and anytime. Whether your screen is a mobile phone, tablet, television, or computer, it's easy to enjoy the content in the Client's personal cloud. To continue delivering on our vision, we are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic, critical thinkers with sharp eye for detail to join our Software QA team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional team members from Architecture, Product Management, developers and DevOps to understand thoroughly, test, and release features Defining the testing best practices and tools and able to identify gap in our existing coverage Working very closely with many other teams inside the Business Unit such as the Platform, API and Cloud developer teams to understand the feature implementation and troubleshoot the complex issues Troubleshoot, analyze, and isolate complex software issues and configuration problems in heterogeneous environments Working with our engineering support team to troubleshoot complex problems in our network and for our customers Hands on and deep dive into discussions with developers Exceptional understanding of SQA methodologies & practices Design execute, and document detailed and thorough test plans and test cases to ensure product quality Motivate, coach and mentor team members and track delivery to plan Encouragement to think out of the box Passionate for continuous learning, experimenting and applying cutting edge technology and software paradigmsREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering 8 or more years of experience in software testing Test Management Tools: JIRA Defect Management Tools: JIRA, Test Director, Bugzilla Project Management Tools: Confluence, Dashboard in JIRA Automation Tools: Python, Selenium Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task well and change focus quickly Creative thinker and strong problem solver Highly organized, motivated and passionate about achieving results Extensive experience working on multiple projects at a time in a fast paced, results oriented environment Meticulous attention to detail and excellent debugging/troubleshooting skills Serve as a guide and mentor for junior-level QA engineers Provides technical leadership and consultation with regards to practices, procedures, and techniquesKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
