BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST (remote)

job summary:Our direct client is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join their growing team. This company will be transforming their back-office systems over the next 3 years, revolutionizing the way they function operationally by leveraging machine learning and AI. The right person for this role will have experience as a BSA working with development teams. This person will be responsible for partnering with development to document system requirements. • Build relationships with customers, stakeholders, developers and QA
• Elicit, analyze, design and communicate requirements for new business process, new products, defects and enhancements
• Analyze existing mobile and legacy systems to document current state including requirements, process flows, UI, etc.
• Work closely with Development Team in reviewing existing code bases for applications in order to document system flows, business rules, data mapping and other documents by reviewing code and data
• Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level; developing process improvements or re-engineering and recommending elimination; integrating new systems and processes with existing ones; and partnering with internal and external customers to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategies
• Produce various artifacts including As-Is, To-Be flows, user stories, uses cases, business requirements, technical requirements, system designs, diagrams, etc. as well as high-level technical architecture diagrams
• Drive intuitive and customer focused User Experience (UX) of mobile and web applications
• Utilize formal requirements elicitation techniques including interviewing techniques, asking probing questions etc. when working with business stakeholders to understand and define requirements
• Answers questions and assist QA Team and Development Teams during the SDLC
• Assist the team with hands on Business Analysis and UX tasks as needed
