Mid / Senior Java Developer (Fulltime)

Location: Chicago, IL Description: Location: Can sit in either Houston or Chicago post Covid.Mandatory Technical Skills:

• Good communication skills
• Hands on experience in Java/J2EE, EJBs, Spring MVC, Spring boot, Hibernate, Restful services, JMS, Interfacing with Kafka/Elastic search, AWS (EMR, EKS, MSK), Elastic Search and Knowledge on IBM ODM Rules Engine, DynamoDB, ELK, KafkaMSK, Datadog, ISTIO,
• Understanding about Angularjs
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills to understand different topics and come to a sound analysis.
• Understanding of PL/SQL Stored Procs and Packages

• Angular coding, Docker containers
• Experience with NoSql DB like Mongo/Couch DB

• Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it.
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Ability to interact with business, IT, testing teams and close the gap if any.
• Contribute during all phases of software development lifecycle.
• Good Verbal communication, writing and presentation skills.
• Writing well-designed, testable and efficient code.
• Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents.
• Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
• Troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance.
• Defining project scope & specifications, estimating resources required to develop the proposed solution to meet customer requirements and developing schedules, test plans and documentation.
• Identifying potential issues between systems and client specifications and proposing new solutions.
