  • Supervise utility personnel performing vehicle interior cleaning, including, but not limited to ceilings, lights, windows, walls, seats, floors, doors, stepwells, dashboards, passenger and driver restraints, and mirrors.
  • Supervise utility personnel performing vehicle exterior cleaning to include, but not limited to removal of dust, dirt, grease, and oil from all exterior surfaces, windows, bumpers, wheels and tires.
  • Ensures all buses are probed and mileages are reported to Maintenance Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisors every day.
  • Ensures each vehicle is put on a cleaning schedule that meets contractual standards and requirements.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in COVID cleanliness procedures and can create effective procedures for staff to adhere to.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of a Biohazard clean-up
  • Demonstrate the ability to set a personnel / work shift schedule, with a Lead worker assigned for weekends.
  • Demonstrate ability to provide Daily department safety briefs and Monthly department safety training.
  • Responsible for training of Utility department personnel in bus yard movements from bus parking stalls, through fuel / toilet dump service lanes, wash rack, interior cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
  • Responsible for all work activity of Utility Department personnel.
  • Accounts for subordinate and personnel compliance with all Transdev's safety rules, policies and procedures
  • Monitor employee's performance of established procedures
  • Perform Post Inspections on vehicles that have been detailed
  • Provide daily updates to Maintenance Manager and Client
  • Administer daily reports for the Utility Department
  • Responsible for maintaining the bus wash area and bus yard clean
  • Other duties as needed
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
Qualifications:

Qualifications:The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a high school diploma (or GED equivalent) with some college preferred and at least three years prior experience in a Maintenance environment. Must be dependable and have reliable transportation to work. Must be computer literate in word and excel and functional with the English language in both verbal and in written forms. Must be able to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment and communicate at all times with professionalism and courtesy.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Maintenance theories, principles, practices, and techniques
  • Thorough knowledge of the organization's functions, methods of operation, staff and operational departments
  • Competency to express ideas effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other managers and employees
  • Capacity to plan and supervise the work of subordinates
