API Developer

The need is that the 2 new systems that are being put in are the backbone of the organization. They both have published API's which is unlike the current systems. Do not want to wait for improvements from the vendor to get the features that are needed. Want to be flexible and nimble providing the features and products members want and need as quickly as possible. This first position will need to be process oriented and able to develop the SDLC for the credit union. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

• 5 years of full stack development experience
• 3 years of participating in design of cloud applications
• Experience with Java or Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka
• Experience with REST APIs
• Experience writing and supporting reusable and maintainable APIs
• Experience with modern full stack development workflow
• Experience with cloud services continuous deployment
• Experience with optimizing applications including profiling, memory usage, and speed optimization.
• Experience with agile practices and team code ownership
• Work well in teams, respecting and welcoming ideas from partners, business stakeholders, and technical experts
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

• Experience working in a DevOps environment
• Experience with a JavaScript framework (Knockout/Angular/React/etc)
• Experience with Typescript and applying Object Oriented Design Patterns
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, REST
• Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, HTML document architecture, and usability principles
