Seeking a Human Resources (HR) and Payroll Coordinator to support the day-to-day practices and procedures for all Capital Business Development, LLC entities. The HR Coordinator is responsible for ensuring day-to-day HR functions are successful and effective, with special focus on payroll processing, benefits administration, recruitment/onboarding, and the ongoing maintenance of employee records in accordance with federal and state regulations. The HR Coordinator is responsible for implementing HR practices that provide an employee-oriented culture, as well as assisting and advising company managers on HR issues as required.
Required Skills:
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
-Ability to maintain a high standard of customer service with clients, vendors, and co-workers
-Proficiency with ADP payroll system, MS Office, and Excel
-Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
-Meticulous attention to detail
-Ability to operate ethically and maintain confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
-Process payroll and administer employee benefits
-Assist with internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
-Maintain both paper and digital copies of employee records
-Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks, and issuing employment contracts
-Perform onboarding and update records of new staff
-Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and HR programs, policies and guidelines
-Support other assigned functions
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
-2-4 years of experience in human resources and payroll
-Strong payroll processing skills utilizing ADP or major national payroll company a must
-Knowledge of federal and state employment law and practices
-SHRM-CP credential preferred
Physical Requirements:
-Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
-Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Job Details:
This is a full-time position with benefits after a 90-day probationary period. The anticipated salary range for this position is $45,000 - 50,000.
