GBI has always maintained that our employees are our greatest asset, and we are now seeking to add to our team. We are currently seeking a Financial Reporting Manager, based in our Wenatchee, Washington office!

Job Summary:

The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for preparation and distribution of all regional and corporate financial statements, maintenance of the general ledger, and ensuring that all transactions and reports are in accordance with US GAAP. The Financial Reporting Manager will possess strong analytical, communication and organization skills to support the finance and accounting department’s functions and overall goals.

Essential Functions:

Manage preparation of all internal financial statements and WIP reports across all GBI related entities, including regional financial reporting packages

Manage monthly financial close and reconciliation process

Assist with coordination of corporate financial statement audits with the independent CPA firm

Oversight and analysis of general ledger accounts across all GBI related entities

Analyze all financial reports and assist in improvement and execution processes

Perform ad hoc data mining, reporting and special projects

Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

Assist with joint venture accounting and implementations

Other duties or special projects as assigned

Required Education, Experience and Credentials:

High School Graduate or GED

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA Required

Minimum five years’ experience in accounting

Large public accounting firm experience preferred

Construction accounting experience preferred

Experience with mergers and acquisitions a plus

Strong knowledge of US GAAP

Strong experience with Microsoft Excel

Technical proficiency in construction ERP software, Vista by Viewpoint experience preferred
