GUARDIAN ANGEL assisted living home is seeking a Caregiver. GUARDIAN ANGEL assisted living home’s mission is to provide compassionate care with a smile.

We provide supported living for adults age 18 and older who have physical disability, are elderly, or suffer from dementia. The ideal candidate is hard working, experienced, dedicated, kind, and looking for long term employment. We are prepared to train new staff accordingly for success, experience is Preferred.

Most of our residents are independent and require a kind, compassionate caregiver to spend time with and provide assistance as needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Duties include, but are not limited to assisting residents with a full range of ADLs and IADLs, Assisting clients with activities of daily living such as: medication assistance, cooking, housekeeping, laundry, making residents appointments, maintaining accurate records, dressing, bathing, cleaning their rooms, and having fun. Perform routine safety checks on each client and their rooms, charting daily notes, paperwork completion, and other duties in/around the facility as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Potential candidate must possess or be willing to obtain the following prior to the official job offer:

-Experience working with disable individuals is a plus, but not necessary as training will be provided

- Must be at least 18 years old

- Current 1st Aid/CPR certification (we recommend Alaska Caregivers Training Academy (907) 258-0535)

- Current TB test (we recommend Dimond Medical Clinic: 300 E Dimond Blvd #12, Anchorage, AK 99515)
