Sterile Tech - Dental Assistant - Part Time

Our Endodontic office is looking for a part-time dental assistant who is committed to providing a high standard of care to our patients.
Our ideal candidate is a professional with 1+ years' dental experience; one who is mature, self-disciplined, reliable, and compassionate, has professional communication skills, good-judgment, integrity, possesses a strong work ethic and a fanatic attention to detail.
The schedule will be determined monthly. Two treatment days a week will be determined between Monday-Friday, 10am- 6pm and an additional couple of hours for set up and stocking, prior to scheduled treatment. In total the position requires about 20 hrs a week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Typical duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Sterilization of all instruments (OSHA standards).
Cordially represent the office to all patients, guests and phone inquiries during office hours.
Take radiographs as needed.
Keep operatories clean (OSHA Standards) and organized.
Ensure treatment trays are ready for each procedure.
Assist doctor in all Endodontic related procedures.
Make sure all Endodontic supplies are kept stocked and in order.
Clean/change all necessary solutions for all operatory equipment.
Keep current list of supplies to be ordered for ordering person.
To assist co-workers when needed (other assistants and front desk).
Endodontic experience is preferred but not required.
Compensation depends on experience.
