We are looking for a qualified staff member to add to our team. Staff members provide supervision, advocacy, and help youth work toward treatment plan goals such as social skills and daily living skills. We serve youth with social, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive challenges.

Staff Members Responsibilities (Include but not limited to):
Understanding and following programs expectations
Supervising multiple youths with positive interaction and guidance
Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
Take youth to scheduled appointments when needed
Participate in community and/or recreation therapy
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 (per lic. regulation) with a clean driving record.
Must have one of the following:
Must have completed 12-semester units of Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree.
A valid Child Development Teaching Permit.
A valid certificate as a Drug Counselor or Alcohol Counselor.
A valid vocational training certificate, credential, or documentation demonstrating that the individual who instructs children and has at least 100 hours of experience working with youth as a mentor, athletic coach, teacher, vocational coach, tutor, counselor, or relevant experience as determined by the department.
Previously been employed as full-time staff or served as a volunteer at a group home, short-term residential therapeutic program, or substance abuse treatment program for at least one year.
Relevant life experience in the child welfare, mental health, or juvenile justice systems as a consumer, mentor, or caregiver, or other relevant experience as determined by the department.
