Application Developer

We are seeking a senior level Application Developer based in our client’s South Gate, California location. As Application Developer you will be responsible for designing and developing solutions based on complex business rules. Additionally, you will be expected to participate in the design and development of applications to support our core business, with a large focus to innovate software solutions to modernize / transform existing applications.

• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code

• Work on all aspects of software development lifecycle following agile methodologies
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks with minimal oversight
• Analyze code to find opportunities for improvement and eliminate defects
• Write ad-hoc SQL queries to address application issues and modify data
• Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine to determine technical requirements
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills & the benefits they bring to the team.
• Have a focus on deliverables and be able to adapt to changing situations/requirements in our fast- paced environment.
• Be able to think out-side-of-box to create innovative solutions

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field
• Strong object-oriented design and development skills
• Advanced knowledge of C# and ASP.NET MVC or similar framework
• Experience with standard Web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, and CSS
• Experience with Java Script frameworks such as AngularJS 5 and above Node JS
• Knowledge of MS SQL database technologies e.g. ETL, T-SQL, SSRS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Familiar with Distributed System Development/Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Familiar with Microsoft Azure or other cloud-based infrastructure (is a plus).
