Stabilis Professional Services, Inc. is looking for Software Engineer - API Gateway. this position is with our client in Minneapolis, MN. This is a full-time opportunity.Skills Required:
- Scripting languages such as Lua or Python
- Object-oriented languages such as Java or Groovy
- TDD and unit testing tools like JUnit and Spock
- Proficiency with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Couchbase, Redis, or Memcached
- Proficiency with relational databases such as PostsgreSQL, MySQL, or even SQL Server
- Experience in Jenkins, CircleCI, or Travis CI to develop and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in building highly performant distributed systems
- Experience with RESTful API design, HTTP concepts, and how to secure APIs
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with different authentication standards (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, etc.)
- Experience with Nginx, we are using Kong
- Experience with containerization such as K8s, Docker, OpentStack, or PCF
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and concepts such as IaaS, PaaS, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of API management concepts
