Overview:Performs the most complex analytical tasks associated with business application development. Tasks are performed in an independent manner with some direction as to the general results expected. This level possesses and applies an in-depth knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures within an IT technology infrastructure or business applications specialization to achieve the completion of more difficult assignments. Tasks may include: Tasks associated with the identification, deployment, and support of software to support the company’s business requirements. Proactively consults with clients. Understands client requirements, articulates business drivers and organizational goals, and understands how their responsibilities support these goals. Identifies technology options and defines detailed specifications of technology solutions. Performs prototyping, design, development, complex configuration testing, debugging, documentation and implementation of mission-critical business systems. Provides technical expertise and/or leadership on complex projects, including designing application architecture, creating procedures, supporting client training, data conversion and deployment activities, and directing and checking the work of others. Applies analytical skills to research, study, design, implement, and support complex, large sized projects. Often handles multiple assignments concurrently, leveraging experience and advanced skill in handling complex assignments with little supervision necessary. Coordinates with project managers and team leaders. Job Description:In this position, you will work as part of the Agile Analytics team, providing support to Data scientist and Data Engineers for a variety of out-of-the box and custom developed applications. The candidate will have elevated privileges access to applications within Operations Analytics and they will be expected to become a subject matter expert on their respective systems and/or applications. The team has a diverse set of responsibilities and with that allows significant opportunity to have individual contributor roles change responsibilities over time. This position will be remote with statewide responsibilities. Responsibilities:- Ability to work independently, or in a team environment including those which cross department and organization boundaries and can handle multiple assignments concurrently.
- Possesses and applies an in-depth knowledge of principles, practices and procedures for software development.
- Independently performs complex analytical tasks, with some direction as to the general results expected, associated with software development
- Has the knowledge and experience necessary to implement solid security practices, troubleshoot and fix, perform risk analysis, and monitor performance.
- Maintain and enhance knowledge of industry trends and new technology through educational sources and continuous learning
- Prepare business and technical documentation and procedures
- Provide incident diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution for software under time constraints
- Requires work hours flexibility and mobility
Requirements/Qualifications: - Requires a bachelor’s degree preferably in an Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Security field.Applicable exempt work experience is not required.Less than a bachelor’s degree may be acceptable if accompanied by other technical training / relevant certifications and extensive experience (internal/external) in positions that demonstrate required abilities and performance.
Preferred Requirements:- Proven analytical and detail orientation with solid critical problem-solving ability
- Must be self-motivated but able to work effectively in a team environment by using and supporting the larger Operations Analytics group
