Healthcare Sales Director / Regional Sales Director

- Establish relationships with and secure contracts from net new customers to achieve Billed Revenue quotas in the assigned region and accounts
- Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales and subsequent account mining efforts
- Prospect for potential customers using both direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking
- Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales
- Consult with prospects about business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of possible solutions with associated costs/benefits
- Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge to be able to engage in meaningful conversations with prospects
- Create and deliver engaging presentations to our clients’ senior managers and decision makers
- Draft and deliver sales proposals
- Work with technical staff and product specialists if necessary to address customer requirements
- Develop and maintain territory plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis
- Develop and maintain key account plans that identify opportunities for the company to deliver values, strategic motivators, main stakeholders, buying processes and forecasted sales
- Keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions
- Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods
- Work with delivery teams to proactively address problems
- Cultivate strong relationships with third parties and partners that may be required to deliver full solutions to customers
- Work with marketing team to plan and execute lead generation campaigns
- Provide feedback to sales management on how to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputation
- Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings
- Identify sales support requirements and work with marketing team to develop and improve sales tools
- Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace
- Conduct all sales activities with the highest level of professionalism and integrity
- Minimum of 10 year of sales experience with at least 5 years in Global IT Outsourcing/Offshoring, Payer or Managed Services for Healthcare.
- Must have worked in a Tier-1 IT firm for at least 50% of their experience.
- Must have a strong rolodex of CXO level contacts in the assigned region
- Must have prior experience managing new business development
- Must have broad understanding of technologies / sales skills
- Overall experience should include business development, contract negotiation, making effective presentations, creating collateral, presentations and POC’s for specific problem statements for customers
- Must have strong customer relationship experience
- Must have excellent cross culture communication skills and ability to be a cultural interpreter helping U.S. customers and our offshore team effectively and collaboratively work together
- Must have a stable career background
- Must have a proven track record of success
