RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Build Engineer in Lowll, MA. Summary:The -Build Engineer- will be the owner of the security build process, including the software build, Hardware Security Modules (HSM), key generation, and infrastructure setup. Initially, our existing technical contributors will be accountable for writing deployment scripts and provisioning operations for the AIB and other boards. However, organizing the HSM networking and secure key storage, working out the individual steps, coordinating manufacturing as needed, and design the process and complete infrastructure would fall to the Build Engineer.Duties: Evaluate and apply security architectures and designs to determine the adequacy of security design and architecture proposed or provided in response to requirements contained the program protection plan. Evaluate and acquire a cryptographic key management architecture and solution that is consistent with the organization's cybersecurity architecture guidelines. Employ secure configuration management processes. Perform security reviews, identify gaps in security architecture, and develop and implement a security risk management plan. Document and address organization's information security, cybersecurity architecture, and systems security engineering requirements throughout the acquisition lifecycle.REQUIREMENTS: Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and enforce security measures Skill in determining how a security system should work (including its resilience and dependability capabilities) and how changes in conditions, operations, or the environment will affect these outcomes Skill in applying cybersecurity and HSM methods and approaches, such as key generation, key storage, and key usage Extensive experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance, and reliability Good working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutions Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and organizational requirements (relevant to confidentiality, integrity, encryption, authentication, non-repudiation) Knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk)Preferred but Not Required: General Purpose HSM Certification Luna EFT HSM Certification PKI, SSL/TLSKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
