Hiring Systems Analyst/Business Analyst - Philadelphia, PA - Contract

Job Title: Systems Analyst/Business Analyst Location: Philadelphia, PA Duration: 12 Months ONLY W2 Job Description The Business Systems Analyst formulates and defines scope (requirements) and objective based on user needs and thorough understanding of business processes. The Business Systems Analyst role on the BTS - Data Warehouse team requires proficiency in creating Business Requirement Documents, Functional Requirement Documents and Mapping documents for the development of ETL applications. This role requires SQL skills needed for data analysis for the creation of the mapping documents. The Business Systems Analyst role will also be required to support testing and production releases. This may include weekend and off hours support. Qualifications for Business Systems Analyst include:

• PowerShell Experience Works with stakeholders on process improvement projects designed to improve results Gathers and analyzes information and provides recommendations to address and resolve root causes Evaluates/researches business problems and their relationship to technology Has experience leading business process re-engineering efforts Demonstrates ability to dialogue and negotiate with all levels of stakeholders Organizes and presents ideas in a convincing and compelling manner Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills Understands the value of process-centric approach to business analysis Tackles complex business/systems problems and conveys this information to stakeholders (includes technical teams for translation into solution design). Identifies process, technology and organizational role changes necessary to support business goals and objectives. Has experience in leading business process re-engineering efforts. Understanding of business strategy development techniques. Ability to facilitate dialogue across functional areas and provide consultative direction.

• 5 years' experience in Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst role or equivalent experience Experience in multiple and diverse environments and applications Knowledge and experience in all major functions, issues and considerations of the subject matter Resource has played a leadership role in establishing standards, policies strategy and best practice Resource has had an influence on wide or high-impact decisions and initiatives and has a theoretical background and understanding of the subject matter Capable of managing manages a diverse and complex suite of projects simultaneously. Experience working with cross-functional projects/project teams Experience in Healthcare Industry required
