Job Title: Laboratory Technician (Imaging Technician) Location: Santa Clare, CA Duration: 3 Months Please note: This role will be 100% on site. Job Description: Client is looking for a passionate, results-oriented, imaging laboratory technician with interest in digital photography. With focus on image capture, field testing, benchmarking, and image quality evaluation, you will have an opportunity to work on innovative imaging platforms and leading products to deliver exceptional image quality for our customers. Main responsibilities of the role: Operate camera systems and characterize camera modules using Client calibration tools. Benchmark Client imaging solutions against reference devices and competitive products. Test image quality, collect objective and subjective performance indicators, and write image quality reports. Participate in image capture, tuning, and quality evaluation tool design reviews, evaluate user experience for Intel imaging software, and provide feedback on algorithm and tool performance. Minimum Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field. Some experience in digital imaging would be a plus Specific requirements: Quick learner, able to work on site in Client's camera lab. Experience in camera benchmarking, camera component and functions, image sensors, and imaging laboratory equipment is a plus. Some experience with evaluation methodologies and tools for objective and subjective image quality analysis. Good communications and report writing skills to facilitate collaboration with the tuning team and customers. Strong team player; self-motivated and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
