Agilisium is looking for a Network Engineer who will be responsible for the entire networking stack that supports client's global cloud. This is a client facing role and the ideal candidate will play a critical role in understanding business and solution needs of customers to create superior customer experience. Responsibilities:
- Remotely deploy global network services.
- Ensure that the network is highly performant.
- Have tight alignment with other teams responsible for building scalable and highly available infrastructure.
- Optimize our automation systems.
- Participate in IT infrastructure project design reviews and ensure network architecture goals and requirements and met
- Support and collaborate on the development, implementation and administration of processes and procedures that ensure the reliability and performance of our network services.
- Institute test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various projects.
- Write requirements/specifications documents.
- Troubleshoot incidents, participate in our active NetEng on-call rotation.
- 9+ years of experience in developing, building and operating network infrastructures in engineering, architecture or design roles.
- Expert level experience with routing protocols such as, TCP/IP, BGP4, OSPF, RIP, ISIS, etc.
- Expert level experience with switching protocols and standards including, VLANs, VLAN aggregation, Link Aggregation, Spanning Tree, and Rapid Spanning Tree, 802.1Q
- Expert level experience engineering Load Balancing solutions
- Expert level experience with configuration and troubleshooting
- Advanced knowledge of DNS and DHCP
- Experience with Python Scripting and Ansible for Network automation and analytics
- Advanced knowledge with network automation
