job summary:

Randstad Technologies is currently seeking a talented IT Leader to join a growing client of ours in the great LA area.

As the Senior Director of IT Solutions and Data Architecture, this person will be responsible for leading a diverse group of IT professionals who are building and maintaining a suite of applications and integration services that serve our network of independently owned and operated sales companies. In addition, this role will be leading the team maintaining the network and support group for all devices. Under general direction from our Head of IT, the responsibilities would range from working independently on multiple complex projects to serving as a technical manager, consultant, project leader and direct supervisor of IT staff and/or contractors. This person would apply a broad range of knowledge and expertise to challenging and complex assignments, initiating projects and determining their staffing, schedule, methodology and completion metrics. This person would assign and direct the work of technology staff and/or contractors, providing consultation, advice and support to the staff on a range of new development projects, integrations between a wide variety of internally and externally hosted systems, as well as providing development opportunities for the IT department. location: Agoura Hills, Californiajob type: Permanentsalary: $180,000 - 200,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 5pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:

  • Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.

  • Oversees planning, development, purchase and implementation of network, software and hardware architecture.

  • Anticipates and plans for changes in technology; acts as a catalyst for changes.

  • Oversees development and maintenance and ensures systems remain operational.

  • Develops long-term vision and technical roadmap for infrastructure and major areas of IT.

  • Uses and interprets broad functional business and industry knowledge to develop business-aligned IT strategies.

  • Plans for and effectively drives implementation of value-added solutions.

  • Serves as a champion for continuous improvement across the IT organization. Is current on innovative technology solutions and envisions how emerging technologies can be used to benefit the business and enhance value.

  • Strategizes for and proactively communicates with IT leadership team and business leaders on information technology trends, benefits, and risks, and applies disciplined financial management and value analysis to IT expense and capital allocations.

  • Develops and manages strategic relationships with external partners.
