We are currently hiring for the following positions: Position Title: Laborer (Corrosion Facility)Location:Marine Core Base, Kaneohe Bay, OahuSchedule: Full Time. Core Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm. Compensation: $16.49/hour with benefits package This is an AbilityOne contract position. Government guidelines require that 75% of the direct labor hours be performed by individuals with a documented disability. Reasonable accommodations may be made to individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Summary:As a Laborer for our Corrosion Center, you will support all aspects of the Corrosion Remediation Facility, and support the Lead in preparing Marine Corp vehicles for corrosion repair. You will be performing physical tasks such as removing bolted down items in support vehicles, sorts, stocks, and store items pulled, transports goods by hand truck or cart, cleans various equipment using a steam pressure washer, assists the lead painter or metal fabricator in preparing vehicles for repair and will prep various equipment for painting using the Sand Blast Unit.Essential Duties:

Removes bolted down items in support vehicles.

Sorts, stocks, and store items pulled.

Transports goods by hand truck or cart.

Cleans various equipment using a steam pressure washer.

Assists the Lead Metal Mechanic and Metal Mechanic in preparing vehicles for repair.

Preps various equipment for painting using the Sand Blast Unit.

Performs routine cleaning and maintaining cleanliness of the work facilities and equipment.

Adheres to company policies, procedures, and safety standards and reports misconduct or unsafe particles to supervisor.

Conducts work in a safe and responsible manner, utilizing required personal protective clothing and/or equipment when appropriate. Complies with all safety standards.

Responsible for awareness of and adherence to all company policies and procedures.Minimum Qualifications:

Prior experience or training in working with hand tools or basic knowledge of machine/body shop activities

Ability to gain military base access by meeting government clearance requirements and passing security background checks

Ability to work in an enclosed environment for long periods of time

Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally push and/or pull 75lbsCertificates, Licenses, Registration:

Must have a valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle.

Ability to be forklift certified, desirable. Work Environment:

Exposure to outside weather conditions and extreme heat.

Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
