Cloud/Applications EngineerRequired Qualifications:

• Experience in supporting applications and functions in the Azure Cloud environment
• Applications middleware support with Tomcat, Apache, .Net, IIS based applications
• Experiencing supporting senior DBAs with application and database patches for oracle and SQL Server
• Demonstrated experience supporting and troubleshoot web applications. This includes deployment of web service applications using Azure and utilizing application and server logs to identify and resolve issues.
• Experience upgrading and maintain operating systems and application software on Microsoft Windows platforms.
• Experience with building Azure based applications
• Experience supporting multiple legacy applications and integration with active directory federation services for single sign on
• Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Perl, and Python).

• Experience with DevOps CI/CD.
• Evaluating and automating the scaling and capacity requirements within Azure environment
• Ability to perform cloud performance analysis and optimize distributed cloud systems.

• Ability to use tasks tracking software JIRA, Remedy, ServiceNow
• Certification(s) related to the Azure cloud environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure managed databases and PaaS services
• Strong knowledge of Backup, Restore, Recovery and high availability strategies for Microsoft Azure environments.
