Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician Location: Hayward, CA 94545Duration: 6 Months, potential to go permanentSchedule: Shift 1; M-F (6:00 AM - 4:00 PM)Description:We are currently seeking out-going, motivated and enthusiastic people to join our team. This position will be in the Fire Service team. The work is fast paced and requires individuals with strong multi-tasking capabilities. Our work is multi-family residential, commercial office buildings, data centers, schools, high-rises, hospitals. Provide inspection, testing, and service for fire alarm equipment to comply with NFPA72 standards as well as state and local codes. Complete required documentation including deficiency repair recommendations.Responsibilities: •Discuss noted deficiencies, remedies, and pricing with customers and follow up on corrective actions.•Follow and maintain highly structured inspection schedules.•Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all tests performed. Generate reports within Client tools and upload to city municipality websites.•Perform minor service and deficiency repairs on all fire alarm system types.•Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding proper operations and routine inspections. Assist with training.•Work overtime when needed.•Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.•Complete required training and certifications within the time requirements for this role.•Maintain stock, tools, and equipment in vehicles.
