We are seeking a Middleware Administrator with a well-rounded background consisting of Infrastructure, Middleware, IT and Business knowledge with strong experience in a number of key technologies such as Web and Application Servers, DevOps, API Gateways, Containers, Operating Systems and Cloud. Middleware Administrator
Major Responsibilities:The Middleware Administrator supports a multitude of technologies and must technologically competition in the following:- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ strong experience with WebSphere, Weblogic, Tomcat. Must be well versed in installation, configuration, patch management and troubleshooting in all of the above.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ of strong experience with Jenkins, Pipelines, GitHub, Subversion. Must be able to develop workflows and pipelines and to performs installation, configuration, patch management and troubleshooting to support various business workflows.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ of strong experience with container technology such as Docker, Swarm and Kubernetes. Must be well versed in installation, configuration, patch management and troubleshooting in all of the above.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ strong experience with Mulesoft Anytime Platform. Must be well versed in installation, configuration, patch management, network configuration and troubleshooting.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ strong experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon and Azure from a Middleware Administrator perspective
- Must have experience with scripting tools such as Jython, Python, Javascript, DOS, BASH
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with log management products such as Nagios, Kibana and Syslog.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Windows, Linux OS. Must be well versed in installation, configuration, patch management and troubleshooting.
- Minimum of 2 years’ solid understanding of database technologies and concepts for DB2, Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, UDB and PostGreSQL
- Minimum of 2 years’ solid understanding of automation using Ansible, Salt, Puppet or similar technologies.
- Supporting applications and middleware relating to Consumer, Business, Dealers and IT in ensuring systems are monitored and performing optimally and to address issues in a timely manner in order to ensure business continuity.
- Must have strong analytical skills in working through problems, new technology and project assignments. Ability to develop task, timelines and project plans as needed to support small to large initiatives.
- Must be a strong team player and customer service oriented to support all levels of the organization.
- Must be able to understand and translate technical concepts and present to wide range of audiences
- Support commercial off the shelf (COTS) products as it relates to middleware.
- Provide support to developers to analyze and resolve issues.
- Provide 24/7 on call support for production deployments and production issues which includes after hours and weekend support as needed.
- Review and resolve tickets assigned.
- Develop and maintain all related documentation.
- Provide training to other Mazda staff.
- Contribute to development and maintenance of standards.
- Participate in annual disaster recovery and audit as needed.
