NOC Analyst

NIGHT SHIFT- NOC TechnicianOne of our largest clients locally is looking for a Night Shift NOC Technician to join their team ASAP This client is located in Novi, MI but will be remote until at least mid/late June of this year. This is a 2+ year long contract but would be a night shift so it's essential this person is open to Wednesday 10pm-2am, Thursday 6pm-6am, Friday 6pm-6a and Saturday 6pm-6am. This person needs to be junior to intermediate level and looking to grow their career in a 24/7 NOC environment, working in n etwork operations center, network connectivity as well as some network monitoring. Interview: 1 step (video WebEx) Day to day duties would include the following: • Routing/Switching expertise needed • 1-3 years installing and supporting Routing/Switching Solutions• Hands on experience with the installation and troubleshooting of Cisco Networks, including Layer 2/Layer3 • Understanding of QoS, MPLS, and BGP• Experience with working with Carriers & Equipment on WAN Circuit issue (T-1 up to 100Gb)• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable• Experience with mid-sized to enterprise-sized customers is a plus• Strong written and oral communication skills• 24x7 NOC experienceTop Skills Details:1. Experience with Solar Winds for monitoring Network Infrastructure solutions (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.)2. Experience with an enterprise ticketing system (using ServiceNow)3. Experience with coordinating with Telco's (AT&T) and dispatching Field Technicians4.
