Job Title: Jr. Business Operation AnalystJob Location Remote PositionJob Duration: 12+ month contract Key Responsibilities- Drives setting of supply strategies for select set of components, and translation/transformation of said strategy into detailed supply plans via IBP.
- Directly engages with suppliers on details of supply plans, assesses supplier capabilities to meet plans, and works issue resolution as gaps appear.
- Time horizon for planning cycle is 12 months
- Collaborates with regional and global business unit planning teams to maintain, execute and enhance current business processes.
- Produces, reviews and proliferates performance metrics and results on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Researches and analyzes priority projects within established guidelines and targets (predefined schedules, goal ranges)
- Represents the Planning and Operations deliverables and requirements, in daily interaction with virtual stakeholders and teams, especially from USA, Europe and Asia.
- Conducts quantitative and qualitative business models analysis to contribute to large projects, with ability to manage massive and complex data structures.
- Sustains the scheduled setups required to enable the proper offering and usage of the product lines under his/her responsibility. Stays on top of the timely release and quality of the deliverables assigned.
- Manages life cycle related activities, such as new product set ups, ramp plan strategies, E&O mitigation and others.
- Typically 3-5 years' experience in planning, or related area.
- Undergraduate college degree, preferably in supply chain related studies
- Demonstrated understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver).
- Strong analytical and data modeling skills. Developed Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and other analytical aids to help manage the operation. Advanced knowledge of data manipulation tools like MS Excel and Access.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
- Strong and effective interpersonal and networking skills. Must have the ability to deliver under ambiguous and or complex circumstances.
- Moderate level of knowledge of inventory analysis, product line setups, forecast creation and measurement.
- Developing Project Management Skills.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency, good understanding of escalation paths and trigger points.
- Demonstrated positive leadership, enthusiasm for the success of the role assigned, and proved teamwork skills.
- As a plus (nice to have, but not required): Knowledge of planning tools such as IBP.
