Quality Assurance Automation Tester As a Senior QA Automation Engineer/Analyst you'll be responsible for the analysis, development and execution of tests for responsive web applications and business logic components. You'll work closely with all members of the software development team to ensure functional and business logic meet the agreed upon project requirements. You will assist the QA Manager in development of quality standards, reports for projects, monitoring testing processes and practices, and overall quality of deliverables. Job Responsibilities Assist in development of quality assurance measures and testing standards for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications and products throughout the development lifecycle.Develop automation test suites; generate manual test scenarios and test cases in a format that can be automatedPlay a key role in the end-to-end quality assurance and testing of projects, schedules, tasks and deliverablesEffectively identify and communicate quality issues and recommendations to improve qualityDesigning, developing and maintaining test cases and strategies to meet release deliverables, project testing requirements and other quality assurance considerationsCreate/Maintain/Review software documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness and to identify and mitigate risksDocument software defects in a manner consistent with the agreed upon documentation scheme and reports defects to the project team and clients as appropriateWorks under minimal supervision. Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignmentsWork with the QA team to define process and strategy associated with automation.Plan automation test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope/delivery dates. Qualifications 5+ years of service delivery with background in Manual, Automation, Performance, Database, API and Mobile Testing experience.Thorough knowledge and experience with, unit, integration, and System, End to End and UAT functional testing techniquesExperience in development of Test Plan, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Execution of Test cases and documenting Test results.Expertise with using one or more test automation frameworks (Data driven, PageObjectModel, Keyword driven. & Hybrid)3+ years strong Experience in Selenium WebDriver Automation testing Tool with JAVA3+ years of coding knowledge: XML/HTML, Python, Java and SQLExperience with SCM and CI systems required Bitbucket, GITLab/GitHub and Jenkins highly preferred.Experience with cloud technologies (AWS)Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies with JIRA/qTest tools usage.Ability to write SQL queries as well as stored procedures and perform back-end testingStrong Understanding of Webservices (SOAP/REST) and demonstrated automation experience with SOAP/REST Webservices/API testing using ReadyAPI and Postman tools.Closely with the development staff to identify and rectify issues/defectsScripting experience with cloud-based test automation tools Sauce labs, Perfecto mobile similarStrong experience with white / gray / black box and automation test methodologyDemonstrated experience with Performance Testing using industry standard testing/monitoring tools, results analysis, provides recommendations, reporting, mentoring of team members.Performance Testing experience with Citrix, Web, Web Services, Mobile Web protocolsExperience with JMeter and other performance and server monitoring toolsSkilled at leading meetings, documenting test deliverables, test and providing status updates to managementExperience as a Team Lead for up to 5 testers or QA Analyst/engineers (including onshore, nearshore and off-shore)Knowledge of techniques for mobile and tablet device performance testing and as they relate to server performanceExperience with Capacity Planning / Forecasting methodologies/techniques
