Description Robert Half Technology is searching for an Integration Engineer for a Manufacturing and Solutions client. This Integration Engineer will be responsible for the assignment of new integration evaluations and maintaining/retesting existing integrations for various products. This is a contract-to-full time position located in Redmond, Washignton.Essential Functions:

  • Evaluate intercom systems with a variety of 3rd party systems.
  • This is a hands-on position with a focus on installing and testing IP-PBX systems, smartphones, VMS systems, ONVIF cameras, and access control integrations with SIF and CGI protocols.
  • Write and review technical specifications, installation instructions for internal use and for customers, and create a test report based on the capabilities of both 3rd party and internal systems.
  • Create test plans and participate in test and verification. Acquire 3rd party certification and verification when necessary.
  • Install and configure Operating Systems on computers and mobile devices and evaluate applications (including Mobile applications) and their functionality within systems.
  • Provides engineering support to internal and external customers.
  • Prepares guidelines and support by describing operational, testing, troubleshooting methods and procedures. Review customer settings and make recommendations.
  • Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging engineering practices, participating in educational opportunities and professional organizations, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience working with PBX/VoIP systems and/or A/V systems and creating testing documentation
  • Familiar with configuring and setting up VoIP systems repeatedly
  • Familiar with configuring and setting camera systems repeatedly
  • Strong skills in creating documentation relating to testing and application compatibility
