DevOps Engineer III

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client seeking a DevOps Engineer III in San Diego, CA.Summary:Come join us as a Dev Ops Engineer in Marketing Technology. We work to ensure that products are highly-available, scale without bottlenecks, offer world-class performance, and can be developed, deployed, and supported quickly and safely. The team is looking for Dev Ops Engineers with a passion for operational, optimization, and reliability work, along with occasional software engineering. If you excel at solving enterprise-scale challenges, enjoy automating absolutely everything, and making systems that scale and never fail, come see us.Responsibilities: Upgrading the platforms of existing services and defining new canary release patterns Maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting both CICD pipelines and release processes Helping us with our mission of getting a pull request to production within 45 minutes while maintaining the highest operational standards Leveraging reusable libraries and open-source code to increase operational success metrics Maintain and enhance training materials to communicate the latest technologies utilized to enhance and support world class best practicesREQUIREMENTS: Strong proficiency with operating and monitoring AWS (EC2, S3, Route 53), Jenkins, SSL certs, and monitoring technologies (Splunk, WaveFront, Kibana) CI/CD experience Excellent attention to detail and strong collaboration skills Passion for driving services and applications to be more robust through usage of site reliability and operational excellence patterns Strength and passion for Web App Dev Ops Experience with Javascript, Node.js, Java, Spring Software Engineering Akamai operations Web App/Cloud security best practices Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plusKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
