JOB SUMMARYVaco Technology is currently seeking a Project Manager (SAP) for a Direct-Hire opportunity located in Richardson, TX. The Project Manager (SAP) will oversee large scale, business and technical projects and ensures they are completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager (SAP) will ensure all team members uphold the company's standards throughout each project's development and execution. The Project Manager (SAP) will be leading global ERP implementations / enhancements, overseeing M&A integrations / related projects, and process transformation efforts. The Project Manager (SAP) will manage the day-to-day of assigned projects, provide guidance on policies and processes, oversee project management staff, and collaborate with other department leaders to develop projects and programs.
  • Project Planning / Estimation
    • Assess Scope of Large-Scale Projects to Estimate Resources / Timelines, etc.
    • Identity Risk as Part of the Project Planning Process / Develop Mitigation Strategies
    • Project Organization
      • Develop Detailed Plans for Cross-Functional Teams for ERP Implementations / M&A Integrations
      • Collaborate with Department Leaders to Define / Prioritize / Develop Project Portfolio
      • Plan the Overall Project / Management of Activities - Setting Deadlines / Prioritizing Tasks / Assigning Team Members to Various Deliverables
      • Coordinate / Guide / Lead Team Members During Project Development
      • Organize Meetings to Discuss Project Goals / Progress with Executive Leadership Team / Stakeholders / Project Teams, etc.
      • Project Execution
        • Oversee Project Execution / Ensure Team Members Carry Out Tasks Efficiently / Deliver Projects on Schedule and Within Budget
        • Continuously Evaluate Projects to Ensure Adherence to Budgets / Meeting Deadlines
        • Coordinate Project Teams / Develop Schedules and Individual Responsibilities
        • Set Project Goals / Create Plans to Meet Goals
        • Find Solutions to Issues that Might Escalate During Operations
        • Use PM Tools to Track Project Performance / Schedule Adherence
        • Conduct Risk Assessments for Projects
        • Project Reporting
          • Analyzing Financial Data - Project Budgets / Risks / Resource Allocation / Provide Financial Reports and Budget Outlines to Executives
          • Maintain Project Timeframes / Budgeting Estimates / Status Reports
          • Accurately Document Project Creation / Development / Execution
          • Document Project Scope / Budget / Justification
          • Report Development / Success / Failure of the Project to the Top Management
          • Draft New / Improving Existing PMO Policies / Processes
          • Cooperate with Teams / Departments to Achieve Better Results After Project Completion
