Job Description

Provide quality customer service at all times

Must have the ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time

Must be alert at your assigned post at all times to ensure personal safety and the safety of others

Perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision

Monitor various activities on and around the assigned post

Practice all safety rules and procedures at the assigned post as established by P4S to ensure a safe and healthy work environment

Report all activities and irregularities by submitting a daily activity report (DAR). This information needs to include observations, unusual occurrences, presence of unauthorized persons on property, equipment and/or property damage and theft

Control, document and monitor contractors and vendors utilizing full-size dock area

Provide necessary traffic control

Monitor CCTV cameras if applicable

The Ideal Candidate will

Have the ability to lift up to 50lbs

Have the ability to climb stairs and ramps when conducting all patrols

Have the ability and willingness to receive cross-training on any nearby contracted posts which will assist department and client leadership during an emergency incident

Be willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Maintain a positive attitude throughout their shift

Have a keen attention to detail in order to document all necessary events
