Premier nonprofit Child Welfare agency with headquarters in Southfield MI seeks qualified individuals. Within the framework of the agency’s mission, policies, procedures and resources, the Chief Operating Officer is responsible for ensuring that all of the direct service program divisions are adequately monitored by Directors. This monitoring is to ensure all work is performed in compliance with current Child Placing Agency Licensing Rules, contractual or grant obligations and/or any additional applicable accreditation standards. The Chief Operating Officer is also responsible for initiating the development of agency policies, procedures, standards and long-term direct service planning and evaluation.

Qualifications: 1. Master's degree in Social Work or Guidance and Counseling. 2. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. 3. Demonstrated leadership abilities. 4. Seven years of post-graduate degree work experience with evidence of progressively increased administrative responsibilities, preferably in a child welfare or mental health setting.
