A leader in the Non-Profit Education space is looking to bring on a Senior Network Engineer to their IT Infrastructure Group. Our client manages the largest non-profit network infrastructure for state education in the nation, hosting over 20 million users on their infrastructure. They partner up with the California State Board of Education to provide high performance network infrastructure to K-12, State operated Community Colleges, and the UC systems of schools, for research initiatives. They are looking to bring on a Senior Network Engineer to build out and maintain their primary product network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Routing, Switching, and Firewall gear with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto products, as well as experienced with advanced routing protocols such as BGP and ISIS experience. Experience with Network automation tooling and scripting with Perl, Python, and SNMP or NETCONF are highly preferred! Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ Years Experience in Network Engineering
- Strong experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto providers
- Routing Protocols experience with BGP and ISIS
- Experience with L2 and L3 Switching
- Network Automation Scripting with Python or Perl
- Experience with SNMP or NETCONF
- Experience with SD-WAN
