- Researching, prototyping and developing tools to produce data from our distributed real-time system for analytics to provide the following features:
- Capture system characteristics into defined models.
- Identify system anomalies.
- Analytics to help with identifying root cause of anomalies.
- Senior in an undergraduate program for computer science or related engineering field.
- Knowledge and/or experience with end-to-end (Software and Hardware) system design/architecture
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Robust testing standards when verifying work
- Dedication and determination to get through challenging problems
- Autonomous worker that has excellent research skills
- Ability to adapt and work quickly in a fast paced, high transaction environment
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels and organizations
- Ability to build and maintain relationships across supported organizations
- Excellent communication (written, oral), presentation and documentation skills
- A passion for creating robust and reliable product
- Graduate program for computer science and/or engineering with prior internships, co- op, or research lab work.
- Linux OS, writing bash scripts and/or CLI tools
- Programming experience with object oriented and functional languages
- Webstack development experience
- Build automation experience
- Network experience
- DB experience (Relational or Document-based, SQL, MongoDB)
- C, Make
- MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, AngularJS, Node.js)
- Jenkins
- Git
- Packet capturing tools (TCPdump, Wireshark, etc.)
- Network packet analysis
- Opentracing tools (e.g. Jaeger)
- APM tools (e.g. Elastic)
