Job DetailsResponsibilities:Architect and implement robust and high-performance map applications and their supporting systemsSolve interesting graphics programming, algorithms, UX, and architectural challengesResearch and develop new ways to visualize and interact with 2D and 3D data on a mapBuild product prototypes and experiment with visualization techniques that benefit a multitude of map content consumers and their millions of usersMaintain, architect, and build map databases and APIs used for reading and writing map dataRequirements:Building WebGL applications that deal with large volumes of dataApplied math skills (3D linear algebra, computational geometry, etc.)Familiarity with low-level application details (memory management, GPU programming, V8 details)Working with or building geospatial APIs and content systemsFluency with TypeScript or JavaScriptExperience with React or AngularDemonstrated experience building and testing features end to end with a keen interest in UI/UX design as it pertains to interacting with large volumes of mapping or scientific dataBonus Points: GLSLExperience shipping code at scale (>=1000s of users)Experience with WASMExperience maintaining and refactoring large legacy codebasesExperience with AWSExperience with data visualizationInterested in hearing more?
