This position starts off remote, and will eventually go to about 50% onsite 50% remote.As a Web Designer/Content Owner, you will work closely with our Marketing, Functional departments to drive content creation, maintenance, and web design/layout using latest technologies. You will use your web and digital industry experiences and best practices to create interactive, responsive, and digital designs. These will allow that follow best up to date, and efficient web sites/tools for workforce.
- Position responsibilities:Develop new concepts as well as interactive designs.
- Develop new landing pages and designs to improve user stickiness
- Develop responsive designs and content using O365, API integrations, Sharepoint (Origami), etc…
- Maintain existing content and ensure up to date, and best layout for the expected purpose.
- Understand web & data architecture to be able to best design integrations to various sources of data and API based integrations.
- Integrate design end to end, and ensure data is relevant and easy to find and use.
- Understand how users work and develop designs to support work styles and work processes.
- Demonstrate proficiency communicating throughout the design process from formulating high-level strategy to executing pixel-perfect mockups.
- Develop a keen understanding of the customer experience, researching, and analyzing user experience data and analytics to identify and quantify opportunity areas.
- Work closely with teams who are keeping up to date with industry competitors, Agile Methodologies, and new trends.
- Experience in setting up digital training curriculum, courses online, and delivering webinars as needed.
- Qualifications include:5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent understanding of user experience and the design needed for effective websites and digital tools (must have the ability to show relevant work).
- Proficient in O365/SharePoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, CSS, Origami, advanced knowledge of Flash, JavaScript.
- Identify qualitative and quantitative insights of customer research and data and business analytics to drive solutions within a customer-centric design process.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design and UX principles
- Excellence in content creation, and delivery
- Excellence in training skills, communication written and oral and presentation skills
- Willingness to take initiative and ownership of tasks and deliverables
- Must be a team player with ability to work and communicate with a variety of personnel
- Must be able to work under pressure and within strict deadlines
- Must work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, subject matter experts, and various marketing personnel to complete assigned tasks
- Detail-oriented
- Experience with front end web technologies like HTML, CSS, or Javascript is a bonus, as well as cloud platforms, like Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Cisco, etc.
- Must be able to adapt to quick changes and tight deadlines.
