A Plus: Mobile experienceReporting to the IT Lead Enterprise Application Engineer - this position builds applications by studying business practices and designing, developing, and installing solutions to support day to day business operations. This role will be heavily involved in architecting and integrating solutions that meet strategic objectives. This includes traditional business applications along with innovative solutions to meet future technology needs. The successful candidate will be passionate in building relationships with others and designing solutions that meet business objectives and overall strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Participates in the operational feasibility discussions related to evaluation analysis, problem definition, requirements, and solution development by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
  • Develop and code solutions by studying business needs; conferring with users; studying or creating systems flow diagrams, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle or agile processes as needed.
  • Accurately documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
  • Stay current in changing technologies and techniques, participates in educational opportunities; actively reads professional publications, maintains personal networks, and participates in professional organizations.
  • Successfully accomplishes strategic objectives while protecting operations and maintaining confidentiality of internal business practices.
  • Other duties as assigned by upper management.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field, required or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of overall IT experience in software development
  • Minimum 1 years developing applications JQuery, C#, MVC .Net and SQL
  • Experience in Mobile Platforms, objective C/Java preferred
  • Must be willing to work with both Open and Microsoft technologies
  • Self-starter; curious; motivated
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Enjoys working with others. Specifically, enjoys building teams and improves the quality of both internal and external teams.
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidential information
  • Proven success in an Information Technology role at a mid-size company (revenues of $300 million - $700 million) or a Fortune 500 company (revenues >$2 billion) strongly preferred
  • Can operate in a startup fashion for emerging technologies that will impact the construction industry.
